Ryan and I went with some friends to Toronto to take advantage of the long weekend last week. Yes. I know I left the USA for the 4th of July, and I’ve been told I’m the least patriotic person ever (not to be dramatic or anything). Ryan booked the room in a fit of spontaneity, [...]

While we were in Atlantic City, we decided to take a road trip to Cape May, NJ. It’s a quaint little beach town at the most southern tip of the state. They have sweet antique stores, ice cream shops and streets filled with mom and pop shops. Needless to say, this is a beautiful town [...]

Speaking of AC, this episode of Sex and the City always made me laugh.

An hour outside London, in historic Oxford, this castle-turned-prison-turned-boutique hotel is the perfect place to lock ourselves away! [...]

My friend, Sarah, had this travel coffee mug in her car and I needed to buy it as soon as I saw it. Literally. I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect travel mug and this one fits the bill! Originally, I really wanted the “I’m not a Paper Cup” mug, but was turned off [...]
radio city music hall

Last week, Ryan and I went to the Radio City Music Hall for the Christmas show, and every year I fall in love with the building all over again. The art deco interiors by Donald Deskey are classic and timeless.
Lighting at the Entrance
The famous stage, said to have been designed to resemble a setting sun.

the olde bell inn

Renovated from an old coach house, The Olde Bell Inn is an exellent example of a traditional building suit to fit modern needs. London design firm, studioisle, cleverly created a tranquil space by the use of natural materials and a neutral color scheme.
